Our Firm

In 2001, a group of about 200 advisors from several different companies came together to form American Portfolios Financial Services, Inc.  The goal was to create a truly independent financial services firm where advisors are free to choose the best investments for their clients without the pressures that come with a firm pushing their own proprietary products. 

As a founding partner of American Portfolios, Jason Mieras has embraced the opportunity afforded to him and his clients to offer the most appropriate investment choices to his clients, thus putting the interests of his clients first.
